Feel free to do some training here, the person at the start of the route will give you a dragon fang. Head north out of Feels Town to Douba Road. You can battle the Trainer Trio to get some exp and if you defeat all 3 they will give you a Nugget. With that your adventure begins to find your father! Bagon is what I consider the most well rounded starter, it will start out with some pretty decent moves but again won’t be able deal some real damage until it becomes a Salamence a level 50. This will require you to rely on Tm’s for nearly the first half of the game. I consider Dratini to be hardest to start out with since the only moves it will know for a while are wrap and leer, this can make training difficult since it won’t learn another offensive move until level 15 and will evolve at level 30 and will be unable to learn any powerful moves until it evolves into a Dragonite at level 55. However, I highly recommend choosing Gible not only because he will be the fastest to evolve but he can learn some quite powerful moves early on that will help you in the games early stages. All three can become incredibly powerful. The three starters are Dratini, Bagon, and Gible. It starts off like any normal Pokémon game so I’ill skip to choosing your starter. (Zen Headbutt will make the target flinch nearly every time, can really get you out of a jam) I will also let you know what rare Pokémon can be found in an area. Also certain moves that have extra effects such as Zen Headbutt will have a greater chance than normal. (Keep this in mind when building your team)Tm’s are not infinite. My recommendations to what Pokémon you should use are solely based on my own opinion.īefore we start I will let you know that this game runs on third Gen mechanics so Fire, Water, Electric, Grass, Ice, Psychic, Dragon, and Dark type attacks are Special and Normal, Fighting, Poison, Ground, Flying, Bug, Rock, Ghost, and Steel type attacks are Physical. This is walkthrough is still incomplete and I will be adding on to it as soon as I can.
